Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, “Purple Rain”

It’s pretty special when a legend covers the work of another legend. Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band covered a song by “the maestro” (as Springsteen calls him in the intro) Prince in Minneapolis on March 31, 2026. And not just any song, but “Purple Rain” to the enormous crowd of proud Minnesotans who sang along with The Boss all for their beloved, fallen icon.
