Canadian Brass, “Raiders Of The Lost Horn”

Canadian Brass has been around since 1970 and cranking out brass quintet performances and albums for the past 55 years. At one point they decided to cash in on the INDIANA JONES craze and use that as the theme for a new piece of music and a music video. What results is…very unique. Here’s how Canadian Brass describes it:

In the mid-80s rock 'n roll videos were just coming of age. We had the idea then that perhaps classical music could potentially compete in this emerging art form, and developed a show of about half a dozen music videos. "Raiders of the Lost Horn" featured Canadian Brass' then-hornist Marty playing the part of Indiana Jones. All elements were carefully controlled: studio recording of Canadian Brass, professional costuming & props, newly composed music by Canadian Ray Pannell, and all the trappings of a full-scale video shoot.
