CHAINED FOR LIFE (2018)

Usually Afternoon Delights is some short-ish video from around the web that’s a sweet amuse bouche of visual entertainment. Today is something different as it’s a whole-ass movie that people can watch for free on YouTube. Via Kino Cult’s YouTube channel (with whom we’ve done some giveaways and a watchalong of THE PIT), the 2018 film CHAINED FOR LIFE is a tremendous dramedy that features incredible performances and scenes that are hilarious and haunting and sometimes both. Written and directed by Aaron Schimberg (GO DOWN DEATH), the plot summary is:

A beautiful actress struggles to connect with her disfigured co-star on the set of a European auteur's English-language debut.

It’s a terrific film that has been unfortunately overlooked by far too many. It’s certainly worth your time this afternoon and beyond.
