Good Hang With Amy Poehler—with guest Aubrey Plaza
It’s easy to bemoan the sheer number of podcasts that are out there. It’s also possible that podcasts have played no small part in our current hellscape of a world—we’ll let the historians sort that out, if there are any left in a few years.
But it’s hard to make those same protestations when faced with such a great example of the power of the medium. Good Hang With Amy Poehler is always a delightful listen, pairing the UCB co-founder/writer/actor/multi-hyphenate with some other talented person as they discuss life and riff hilariously and just have pleasant time together. But this week is even more special as Poehler welcomes her former Parks & Rec co-star and all around fascinating individual Aubrey Plaza to talk about all sorts of matters.
Aubrey Plaza may or may not have been at the Salem witch trials. Amy hangs with her former 'Parks & Rec' costar and talks about getting run out of her NYU dorm by mice, weirding out Mike Schur, and loving the WNBA.
In addition to all of that, Margaret Qualley pops in for a little bit, Plaza eloquently talks about grief and loss, and the two are simply hilarious as they ping off each other with energies that seem disparate but totally complementary as well. Watch the episode below:
