Especially in the horror genre. IN THE STATIC is a great slice of paranoid thriller that puts you in the driver’s seat of a woman having a terrible breakdown. As the plot summary states:

A paranoid woman returns to work after witnessing a traumatic experiment in her office's laboratory, only to discover she can hear her coworkers talking about her in her electronics.

Written by and starring Dani Fernandez and directed by Robert Butler III, IN THE STATIC is a fun short that balances corporate satire with stark anxiety.
