JCVD Go Daddy Commercial 1

One of the best signs of action heroes is their abilities to not take themselves so seriously. When stars are over-serious and determined to always be a badass, bad things happen and they just look ridiculous.

Like many of the greats before him, Jean-Claude Van Damme is aware of this and has used his physical prowess and action renown to comical effect in and out of movies. One of the weirder attempts was in this Go Daddy commercial from about six years ago or so, which was part of a larger campaign for the company. It’s delightfully absurd in the best of ways. I don’t really get how it sells Go Daddy, but I don’t care as long as JCVD is prominently displayed.
