Lizzy & the Triggermen, “When That Man Is Dead And Gone”

As a wise man once said, “it’s like poetry - it rhymes.” Funny how history does that.

Eight years ago, Lizzy & the Triggermen covered a 1941 song written by Irving Berlin about the beautiful day when Hitler would die. FOR SOME REASON that song has become popular again in 2026. It’s a mystery!

But it’s crazy to hear how the same sentiments echo across decades as people wish for a tyrant to just fucking die already.
