Medley from “The Lost Boys” on Broadway

I’m not surprised that 1987’s THE LOST BOYS became a musical. Afterall, I am someone who envisioned THE GOONIES as a musical. THE LOST BOYS is a great combination of style and sex and glamour and music, so it makes sense to translate it to a theater setting. I AM surprised, though, that it was so well received and has garnered a record number of Tony nominations. (And that the book was written by Rickety Cricket from It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.)

The video opens with an interview with the show’s producer, Patrick Wilson (Oceanmaster himself!). The music portion starts at 2:10, with the ensemble performing “Lose Yourself” and “Have To Have You.”
