With the success of OBSESSION and BACKROOMS, Hollywood is searching YouTube for more features to develop. And they may have found the next big success with the 2023 short, OPEN DOOR. Written and directed by Kevin Cate, starring Sean Anthony Baker and Mia Matthews, OPEN DOOR is a fairly simple premise:

Two coworkers are upended at the drop of an elevator.

But the execution is what matters and the short is enough to entice further production and exploration.
