Paula Abdul, “Opposites Attract”

Here’s a throwback to 1989, where a live-action/animated music video took the country by storm. Kinda. For the single “Opposites Attract” by Paula Abdul and the Wild Pair (Bruce DeShazer and Marvin Gunn), a fun hybrid video was filmed. Directed by Candace Reckinger and Michael Patterson, the music video is a sort of nostalgic nod to the Gene Kelly-dancing-with-Jerry-Mouse type vibe as Abdul prances about with MC Skat Kat. Enjoy!
