Jason Eisener always delivers—whether it’s his feature films like HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN or KIDS VS ALIENS, his short films and sizzle reels, or his work producing Dark Side Of The Ring and TURBO KID, the Nova Scotian artist constantly brings something great.
His latest is the short fan film PROJECT SHAMROCK which looks to tie in the disparate threads of the original Halloween franchise—tying together Michael Myers’ murderous rampage, HALLOWEEN III’s insidious masks, and the Cult of Thorn shenanigans introduced in the fifth installment. It’s a fun bit of fan service with some excellently creepy imagery and a great performance from Dave Brunt (the original Hobo With A Shotgun!) leading viewers through the labyrinth of mayhem.
As the video description states:
A recently discovered lost film reel with footage dating back to Halloween 1960 contains disturbing evidence that a young Michael Myers was once a subject of the Silver Shamrock Corporation’s top-secret experiments, conducted under the codename PROJECT SHAMROCK.
The film may offer startling new clues about the origins of his psychotic and violent behavior. We’ve obtained a copy of this reel and are presenting it here for the very first time. Watch it before it’s taken down!
PROJECT SHAMROCK was written/edited/directed by Eisener who also produced it with Jen Yamato.
