RESIDENT EVIL REQUIEM - EVIL HAS ALWAYS HAD A NAME (2026)

Sometimes crass commercialism is cool. Or at least, yields interesting results. As a promotional tool for the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem game (which comes out February 27 on all major platforms), Capcom commissioned and put out this live action short. EVIL HAS ALWAYS HAD A NAME is a pretty efficient and surprisingly effective horror short showing the descent into chaos from a zombie (or what-have-you) apocalypse in Raccoon City. Directed by Rich Lee, the short stars genre icon Maika Monroe and Olivia Aray as a mother and daughter trying to navigate the burgeoning end times of the 1990s…to varying degrees of success.
