Ruth E. Carter Reads From Her Book

Ruth E. Carter is an incredible artist that has been working as costume designer in film since 1988. She’s been nominated for five Academy Awards (so far, including for this year’s SINNERS) and winner of two (again, so far, for BLACK PANTHER and WAKANDA FOREVER), not to mention untold other accolades and nominations throughout her prestigious and inspiring career.

Her book, The Art of Ruth E. Carter, is an amazing resource that not only details her storied professional life, spanning from SCHOOL DAZE to WAKANDA FOREVER, but also her personal world and philosophies as well.
