Scooby Doo Does Stop Motion

Eagan Tilghman created an impressive version of Scooby and the gang as stop-motion. Using Blender 3.5, Tilghman recreates the vibe of Rankin-Bass stop-motion animation to tell a tale of Mystery, Incorporated taking on a sinister force (as per usual) at a Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza (not as usual).

It’s a tremendous idea. The style is incredibly impressive, the voice work is pretty strong, and Tilghman truly captures the vibe of Scooby Doo, Where Are You?, creating something that feels like a special that would’ve run in the ‘70s or maybe even commissioned by Cartoon Network in the early ‘00s. My lone complaint is that I’m not very into Five Nights At Freddy’s and I think this 10 minute short would’ve benefited from doing an original monster. But that’s just me! Perhaps it’s the kooky mash-up you’ve been waiting for - in stop-motion form!!!
