SNL: Sportscenter with Ray Romano

Sometimes it’s Monday, and dreary out, and you just need something to make you smile again. Enter Saturday Night Live’s “Sportscenter” sketch. From the March 13, 1999 episode hosted by Ray Romano, it’s an incredibly simple sketch that finds a beleaguered sports anchor trying to keep up with analogies and catchphrases of his much more successful cohort, Stuart Scott (played by Tim Meadows)…and failing miserably. Or does he?

It’s basic but it’s also delightful. Enjoy.
