Spider-Man Fanmade Motion Comic

Until about a year ago, vsquid888 (also known as Valmari M) was making a bunch of motion comics based on issues of Marvel titles. It’s a shame they’ve stopped as these were really well done with a strong voice cast and nice use of editing to replicate the pacing of the story, create a sense of action, and drive home emotional beats. The last one vsquid888 did (as of this writing) was adapting the Spider-Man story “Leo’s Tailoring,” originally found Amazing Spider-Man #502 by J. Michael Straczynski and John Romita Jr..

Not only is the source material an excellent Spidey story, but vsquid888 and company really bring it to life in a terrific manner that hits all of the comedy and more heartfelt moments. Directed and edited by Valmari M, the cast for the motion comic is:

Spencer Eaton/DapperDaRapper as Leo Zelinsky
BaileyAmburgyVA as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
sirmatolek as Killshot
Anna Faye as Mary Jane Watson
zilch as Michael
Johnny Fox as Sam Whitehall and The Thing
charlesfordVA as The Ferret
gabby_dan as Diner Worker
lorenzo-onrubia as Announcer
Birnam as Waiter and Doctor Doom
Burn The Night as The Blob

It’s a shame that vsquid888 isn’t making more of these, but there are seven additional motion comics on top of this one that can be found over on their YouTube channel. You can also follow vsquid888 on Twitter/X.
