Stop Motion “Sabotage”
Below is an impressive feat by Corduroy Frames, who took the 1994 music video for Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage” (originally directed by Spike Jonze) and turned it into a hand drawn/stop motion feast for the senses!
As Corduroy Frames writes:
What started as a desire to get better at stop motion videos turned into a five year long obsession with trying to recreate one of the most iconic music videos ever made, one microsecond at a time, using card stock, foam, cardboard, tin foil and cotton balls.
Starting with Scene 1 and going in order all the way to Scene 129, I hope that people can see improvement with each scene, taking what I learned and applying it throughout the video…so things that seemed janky and wobbly get figured out over the course of the three minute stop motion epic.
