The Real Ghostbusters, “The Boogieman Cometh”

The Real Ghostbusters was far better than it had any right to be. The animated spin-off of the 1984 movie had some great ghost stories, horror references, and exciting adventures. Easily one of the best episodes, and certainly one of the most beloved, is “The Boogieman Cometh.”

The deceptively simple plot summary?

The guys are hired by a pair of young siblings to rid them of the Bogeyman, an entity Egon is quite familiar with.
