Two “The Distance” Parodies

There’s something in the water where it’s time for parodies of the alternative rock song “The Distance.” The song was originally released in August 1996 by the incredible band Cake and any excuse to reference the stirring tale of someone going the distance is a welcomed one around here.

Yeah- THAT song. Which is great. Well, something is clearly in the ether because just this past week has seen 2 (TWO!) different videos that use the great alternative hit for hilarious purposes. The first is about everyone’s least favorite billionaire tweaker, Elon Musk:
