This piano cover of the Deftones’ classic song “Change (In The House Of Flies)” reveals just how moving the piece is, even when stripped down. This version, performed by YouTuber vkgoeswild (aka Viktoriya “Vika” Yermolyeva), excels even without Chino Moreno’s iconic voice or the sweeping guitars and crashing drums that we’ve come to know. In this new form, it becomes less an angry yet melancholic tale of transformation, and more of a mournful sound of some sort of passionate loss that is gripping the protagonist.

Also it’s insane to methat “Change” was released 23 years ago.
