I’m Gonna Haul Ass To Fantastic Fest 2025!

It’s that time of year again: the weather is changing, the days are getting shorter, the Halloween decorations are coming out, and the nerds are assembling in Austin, Texas. For the 12th year in a row (counting the COVID year I attended remotely), I’ll be going to Fantastic Fest.

The cinephile showcase kicks off on Thursday, September 18, and runs through the entire week until Thursday, September 25. And I’ll be there the whole time! If you’re there, please find me and let’s have a chat or a drink or a chat while we drink.

Unfortunately, that means things will be a bit silent for the next 8 days around these parts. But don’t despair, we’ll be back to regularly scheduled programming on September 29 and then our mystery October theme month will kick off shortly after.
