boygenius - “Cool About It”

The joining of a great song with a cool music video is always cause for celebration. The new EP from boygenius, the rest, is an impressive audio feat from the indie supergroup—which consists of Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, and Lucy Dacus. The lead single from the rest is “Cool About It” and it’s accompanied by an amazing animated music video.

The video was directed by artist/actor/model/much more Lauren Tsai (probably best known outside of her illustrator work in her role as “Switch” in Legion). It’s a tremendous melding of the audio and visual and absolutely deserving of you checking it out.
