While it didn’t get a nomination from the Academy Awards, Daniel Lopatin’s score for MARTY SUPREME was one of the best of 2025. Sounding like an inverse of his usual Oneohtrix Point Never persona, Lopatin’s music is an ethereal and anachronistic touch that helps propel the excellent Josh Safdie film. In the following video, the composer discusses his process and approach to creating the aural landscape for the movie.
