We love us some A.V. Undercover performances. No, they’re not all aces, but more often than not the combination of artist and song produces something incredibly singular and interesting if nothing else, while also exposing various acts to a wider audience. GWAR covering Chappell Roan sounds weird at first. But when you start to really ponder it—the theatricality of both artists along with the independent freak flag flying anthem nature of the tune—the pairing makes all the sense in the world.
