It’s here! We’re big fans of David Ehrlich’s annual countdown videos that don’t just highlight the critic’s own top films of the previous year, but also shine a spotlight on some of the best moments across last year’s cinema. Ehrlich does a tremendous job incorporating music (from last year’s films) and scenes in such a way to create a truly engaging and exciting compilation.
In addition to it being a great video, it is also for an excellent cause. As Ehrlich writes:
this year's video is once again in support of the Palestine Children's Relief Fund. If you'd like to support their urgent efforts to bring food, medicine, and other life-saving supplies to the people of Gaza please consider donating here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/david-ehrlich-2026-video-countdown-fundraiser.
Please give if you can!
