ECHO TWINS (2025)

Making any movie - even a short - presents the filmmakers with a whole barrage of obstacles. But Team Red Pro went even further by giving themselves the added challenge of seeking to answer the question: “how do we shoot a horror short film in the sunlight?” The result is ECHO TWINS, a fun action/horror hybrid that uses Doechii’s song “Boiled Peanuts” as another jumping off point to create a pretty creative short with excellent dance/action choreography.

The plot summary:

A couple’s weather-ruined romantic getaway turns into a fight for survival against malevolent twin spirits looking to capture unsuspecting souls.

ECHO TWINS was directed by Dan Carter and Joseph Le (who also was the DP and editor). The short stars Tarell Kota Bullock, Cina McKenna, Nailah Johnson, Ilyana Eberhardt, and Jackie Gerhardy.
