Gorillaz feat. Del the Funky Homosapien, “Clint Eastwood”

Since their debut in 1998, Gorillaz have been a fun time that played with the concept of a pre-packaged pop rock band while also producing some great hits. The group (Damon Albarn, Jamie Hewlett, and various others depending on the night) recently performed on Saturday Night Live in promotion of their new album, The Mountain.

What makes this so fun is that the group performed their first single, “Clint Eastwood,” with help from the MC on that track - Del the Funky Homosapien. Really that’s what makes this so noteworthy is that Del performed on SNL. Does this mean one day we may get a Deltron 3030 track on national airwaves? We can dare to dream.
