Hello, October - From Sam

2007’s TRICK ‘R TREAT is a phenomenal horror anthology that ticks all the boxes for a season viewing for Halloween season. Writer/director Michael Dougherty is bringing back its leading man/mascot, Sam, in a big way this year. With Sam: The Soul Of Halloween, it seems that Dougherty is doing a big push for the iconic character to reclaim its spot as a Halloween fixture. There are a bunch of repertory screenings, a whole slew of new videos (like the one below), and a new website dedicated to all things Sam.

It’s a great time to revisit TRICK ‘R TREAT—or especially to watch it for the first time!—and a very fun moment to be a fan of everyone’s favorite holiday spirit.
