Internet Reacts To “I Keep Forgettin’”

I’ve said before I’m not a big fan of “reaction” videos…but then Derek Brooks comes through again with another banger of a video that collects a bunch of folks reacting to a song with which they weren’t previously familiar. So maybe I just don’t dig singular reaction videos? It’s a mystery that no one cares about, I’m sure.

This entry into Derek Brooks’ series finds YouTubers reacting to “I Keep Forgettin’” by Michael McDonald. Most folks immediately peg it as the basis for the sample in Warren G’s “Regulate” (though it’s funny how 95% of the people in the video call the song “Regulators”). But then once they give in to the Yacht Rock magicks they find that song is good on its own terms as well.
