John Early, Cole Escola, and Kate Berlant Re-Enact SHOWGIRLS (1995)

Remember that grueling practice sequence in SHOWGIRLS (1995) where Nomi is pushed by the stage manager to give it her all? Well it’s back…in intentionally hilarious form!

Back in 2013, John Early, Kate Berlant, Cole Escola, Sunita Mani, Tallie Medel, and Eleanor Pienta got together with director Drew Tobia and DP Alex Fischer and managed to perfectly recreate that whole scene with identical blocking, costuming, cinematography, and more. It’s amazing.
