“Lose Yourself” Sung By 331 Films

The Internet is a terrifying playground full of wondrous and horrific stuff. But for every five new nightmares that are unleashed upon us, there’s usually at least one bit of gold that makes the day a bit better. Today, that bit of gold is The Unusual Suspect editing together 331 movies into performing “Lose Yourself” by Eminem. From 8 MILE, the Oscar-winning song has become an inspirational anthem (and THE go-to ditty about mom’s spaghetti) that has crossed generations and fandoms since its 2002 debut.

While it is slower than most of Eminem’s songs, it still has quite a lot of lyrical abundance, which makes this edit all the more impressive as The Unusual Suspect pulls from all sorts of disparate sources from all manner of genres and eras to get those words right. It’s a fun, breezy video that is a cute reminder of the gentler Internet we all need sometimes.
