Movies With Mikey on SUPERMAN (2025)

It’s been a while since checked in with Movies With Mikey on this site. But Mikey Neumann has continued to put out incredible works this entire time in a bevy of different features. But his latest video on why SUPERMAN (2025) works and the lessons it imparts about humanity is a tremendous video essay on the crowd-pleasing blockbuster. While it was full of fun moments and nice beats, there’s something more going on in the film that Neumann deftly explores in this entry. A lesson on failure and resistance and defiance and, yes, humanity that lies at the center of James Gunn’s recent tale of the Last Son of Krypton.
