THE CHAIR (2023)

With OBSESSION cleaning up at the box office and getting rave reviews, it’s worth checking out some of writer/director Curry Barker’s other works. His 2023 short film, THE CHAIR, did the festival circuit and won tons of awards and acclaim, leading to Barker getting the financing for OBSESSION.

It’s a great short that threads the needle between the supernatural and personal madness while creating a palpable sense of dread. The official plot summary of THE CHAIR:
